Global Chinese Marketing Executive
Location: Flexible (Work Remotely)
What this role is responsible for:
This role reports to the Director, Global Growth Markets and is responsible for global Chinese marketing initiatives and also providing support to local Chinese marketing teams around the globe through content creation, local partnership outreach, public relations, and more.
What success looks like:
Developing Chinese marketing assets, such as websites, marketing brochures, videos, and sales templates. This work involves working with HQ English marketing team to translate existing English assets to Chinese, auditing and updating existing Chinese contents from local area Chinese marketing teams and copywriting/creation of new Chinese contents.
Building a systematic global Chinese content library with assets that can be accessed and localized by local area marketers.
Supporting Chinese partnership building efforts by researching and contacting potential business partners and media channels in different countries.
Organizing and supporting the end-to-end planning and executions of webinars and other related events on the global level and in local markets.
Managing Chinese’s presence on new Chinese marketing platforms, such as Xiaohong Shu and Xiaoetong.
Actively engaging and working collaboratively with Crimson’s country managers and local area Chinese marketing managers, helping them polish campaigns that speak to their specific customer needs.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
2+ years of Chinese marketing and/or education industry experience.
2+ years of experience of Chinese content writing and Chinese social media management (for example, WeChat public account).
Deep understanding of Chinese parents and students and their needs for education products and services
Knowledge of the US/UK university admission process preferred
Comfortable with video creation, editing and adding subtitles is a bonus
Experience of managing official accounts on Xiao Hong Shu is a bonus
Knowledge of platforms such as Zoom, Salesforce, Marketo, Storyblok, Xiao E Tong etc desired but not a must-have
Creative thinking and project management skills - You love exploring new ideas and can see a project through from start to finish on time
A team player and independent worker who does not require hand-holding
Impeccable communications and storytelling skills
Excellent organization skills
