What this role is responsible for:
Marketing Content:
- Generate marketing ideas and own marketing initiatives. Driving quality leads to consultations with the local sales team.
- Development of Taiwan-specific video content to better communicate with the local market and increase the quality of MQLs. Video based content to include UK/European student interviews and case study profiles as well as video promotion of Crimson services.
- Localize global campaigns and other marketing materials into English and Mandarin to suit Taiwan Market tastes.
- Manage and grow Crimson’s following on organic social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LINE, Email and others.
- Work closely with HQ and regional sales and marketing teams to create impactful and effective offline and online campaigns (including digital marketing ads to promote our events and services, creating local messaging and content assets that successfully engage and convert targeted prospects).
- Work closely with the digital team to tailor online content, landing pages, social posts, ads, and EDMs to promote local events and initiatives.
- Generating organic PR and mandarin blogs that generate organic traffic from the target audience
- Alongside local marketing and sales, monitor leads and conversion from marketing across all channels (events, PR, social, owned media content, emails, SEO, and more) with weekly/monthly progress reporting, customer behavior, and user experience.
Marketing Partnerships:
- Assist Business Development Manager with planning and content for school partnerships in order to grow relationships across Taiwan and strengthen position within the market.
- Spearhead, and drive Crimson’s work with agencies, financial sector and/or governmental bodies
- Responsible for tracking and measuring of marketing activities across all partnership channels.
- Work in close collaboration with the sales team to better understand customer segments and buyer journeys. Develop helpful content for the sales team to assist the process, resulting in faster close rates, development of referral culture leading to greater sales, and a seamless customer journey from marketing - sales - to service.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ideally in the field of marketing, business, PR, communications, journalism or English.
- 3+ years of experience in integrated marketing communications, digital marketing, PR, copywriting or branding.
- Experience with business development, partnership acquisition and management.
- Experience with blog writing, SEO and content writing.
- Strong storytelling skill and ability to connect emotionally with target prospects.
- Basic understanding of how digital targeting and paid digital advertising works on Google, Facebook and other digital platforms such as paid search campaigns, and YouTube advertising including Display and Performance Max.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin and ability to speak these languages idiomatically—strong command of writing in both English and Chinese is required.
- Knowledge of Taiwan's local marketing channels and partner organizations for pursuing higher education overseas.
- Understanding of the US/UK undergraduate application process and the Taiwan Education landscape.
- Experience in video editing and production.
